Holy Week Services at Peace
Tre Duum
“Three Days"
The Three Days of the Passion are celebrated as one service from Maundy Thursday through Easter Sunday. It counts as three as Friday begins according to Biblical reckoning at Sunset. Thus, Sunset on Thursday is counted as Friday. To be sure, the time of year and Daylight Savings time makes for our worship starting before sunset. We beg your indulgence.
With the unity of the service we also note that the Invocation is heard at the start of Maundy Thursday service and will not be heard until again until after Easter Festival. Also The benediction shall not be heard until Easter Festival.
