The Meaning of “Jesus My Savior”

In today’s society, the two words “Jesus Christ” can very well be the source of heavy conflict and can be uite a controversial topic. The question “What Jesus means to you?” can potentially have a very in-depth answer. If you ask me, the answer is simple, but in a complex way. Jesus is my Rock, my Strength, my Song; My Wisdom, and my Refuge safe.
In literal terms, I would say that it means, just as it is spoken in John 3:16 that in order for his creation to thrive and carry on, God sent His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, will not perish, but have eternal life. God sent His Son, Juesus, down to Earth to suffer a tortured death, being nailed onto the cross, just so that all of his people could be saved and forgiven of their sins. But to me, the answer is deeper than just that. I can’t even begin to comprehend how much love God has for us. Jesus went through harsh prejudice by millions of people who didn’t believe Him that He was the Savior. He went through all of this hatred, all so that we, God’s beings, could be forgiven from our sins. I know that because of the Lord, who IS my Savior, I can repent for what mistakes I have made and that no matter what; Jesus will always be a listener and a protector from harm and all evils. Jesus is more than my Savior; He is a part of me in every way. He is the one whom I worship and seek forgiveness from. He is the one true teacher, who cares for anyone and everyone, no matter what they may have done in the past.
Just as In Acts 4:12, it says this meaning perfectly, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” This means that salvation and forgiveness isn’t found or granted by anyone other than Him. Mankind doesn’t know of any other name in Heaven which forgives sins and loves us like no human being can love something; it’s only God’s love. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

The Lord’s Supper

The Lord’s Supper is also known as the Sacrament of the Altar. It is the true body and blood of Jesus Christ. The invisible elements of the Lord’s Supper are the body and the blood. The visible elements of the Lord’s Supper are the bread and wine.
Even though I have not taken Communion, the Lord’s Supper means a lot to me. It’s a piece of Jesus given to me to remember him and what he did for me. When I take the bread and wine it will remind me that Jesus is a part of me. He is in my heart and keeps my faith alive.
When I eat the bread, his body is in my body. When I drink the wine, his blood is in my blood. I feel so privileged to be able to have my sins forgiven. Getting confirmed is so important to me because I want to carry out my Christian faith in my life and my children’s lives. I feel getting confirmed will make me strive a full life of God’s Word and faith in Jesus Christ.

What Does aptism Mean To Me?

Baptism means a lot to me. Baptism helps me get the Means of Grace. It means that I ahve been put on the path of God. Baptism means that God will forgive our Oul Adam sin. It means that I can feel safe while God watches me from above.
Baptism means to pour, sprinkle, immerse, or wash. When one of those ways is done to your head, with the word of the Lord, and God’s command, then you are brought to God and your sins are washed away.
Baptism gives me forgiveness of my sins; it rescues me from the devil, and it gives me eternal salvation with the others who believe in God too. Baptism means that I should learn about God and believe the true powers of God and Jesus.
God our Lord instituted baptism and commanded the church to give holy baptism. God said to baptize all the nations. Once all the nations are baptized they become the children of God and all their sins are washed away. They become free from the devil. In Matthew 28:18-19 Christ says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
The power of baptism is the Word of God and trust. The Word of God is with and in the water, and to trust in God’s Word in and with the water. With the word and the water the water is clean. When the water is clean the baptism will be right.
Baptism means that my sins were forgiven by God and that when the time has come I will join God and Jesus in heaven for eternity.
